These yoga classes in North London are "middle way" intensity sessions. Ideal for yoga students with experience who would like to progress sensitively, clarify technique and deepen their yoga practice. These yoga classes and workshops can be undertaken slowly and gently by beginners with basic fitness. There will be challenges suitable for everyone (viniyoga). We will mainly focus on yoga asana (yoga postures), but we also practice some pranayama (yogic breathing practice), and there will be a little meditation. I'll weave in some practical yoga philosophy from the Yoga Sutras, to share the teachings of yoga in the wider sense with you. Please call for advice or more information.

Mondays
7-8.45pm Ongoing yoga group, level 2-3 (approx. 12 places)
£9 per class, each 6-9 week term, in advance. Drop in £12 (some concessions).
Tuesdays
7-8.30pm Yoga Course for beginners to the yoga tradition of Krishnamacharya.
(Advanced students may be beginners to this tradition),
level 1-2, and ideal for those returning to yoga practice.
£9 per class, each 6-9 week term, in advance.
This small group temporarily meets at 14 Greenham Road.

During these yoga courses we will progress through all the stages necessary for a complete study covering the fundamentals of yoga in this rich tradition!

A Viniyoga for the HLSI.
Viniyoga means appropriate application of yoga to suit the particular situation. Viniyoga is yoga correctly tailored to fit the needs of the person, or group.
